POSITION PAPERS

Although position papers are not required, they may be supplementary for awards.

Submitting a position paper makes delegates eligible for the "Best Position Paper" award in both GA committees and in the Olympic Summit.

All position papers must be submitted by 11:59 PM on Friday, February 20th 2026, unless given permission to submit at a later time.

To request an extension on the deadline, please contact the head chair of your committee.

Position papers should be written in Times New Roman 12-size font, single-spaced, and be a maximum of 2 pages in length (including citations). Footnotes  should done Chicago-style and citations in MLA format. 

All position papers should be titled as follows: COUNTRY_NAME_COMMITTEE
